Delabs Games aims to hit a home run with its new Telegram baseball game, Giga Chad Bat, leveraging the platform’s massive user base and the growing popularity of tap-to-earn gaming.

South Korea-based gaming studio Delabs Games has entered the competitive world of Telegram clicker games with the launch of its baseball-themed title, Giga Chad Bat. The company hopes to capitalize on the surging popularity of Telegram-based games like Hamster Kombat and Notcoin, which have amassed millions of users.

“Launching Giga Chad Bat on Telegram is a big swing for Delabs,” said Delabs Games CEO Joonmo Kwon. “Our focus has always been on delivering enjoyable gameplay while integrating web3 features to enhance the fun.” Kwon, a gaming industry veteran with experience at Nexon Games, aims to continue this philosophy with Giga Chad Bat, prioritizing player engagement and community interaction within the familiar Telegram platform.

Telegram’s massive user base, estimated at around 900 million, has proven to be a fertile ground for clicker games. Titles such as Notcoin and Hamster Kombat have leveraged this platform to onboard tens of millions of players who engage in simple tap-to-earn mechanics to potentially earn TON blockchain-based tokens.

Delabs Games is betting on a similar formula with Giga Chad Bat, offering players the chance to compete for points convertible into GAME tokens. The company’s previous title, Rumble Racing Star, has already garnered over 2 million players on both iOS and Android.

Backed by prominent investors like 4:33 Creative Labs, Hashed Ventures, and Polygon Labs, Delabs Games has raised a total of $12 million to fuel its gaming ambitions.
